EGYE NGO Strengthens International Cooperation in Copenhagen
The Eco Group Youth Environmental NGO team visited Copenhagen, Denmark, to participate in a preparatory study visit organized by “4H Denmark”, a member organization of the Danish Youth Council (DUF). The visit is an important step toward strengthening future cooperation between the two organizations and developing joint initiatives.
During the visit, the EGYE team had the opportunity to gain in-depth insight into the activities of “4H Denmark”, including its core values and strategic directions. The meetings facilitated effective exchange of experience, enhanced youth engagement, and supported the development of new approaches to environmental initiatives.
A notable part of the program was the reception organized by DUF, where the delegation took part in two specialized workshops: “Problem Tree Analysis” and “Youth Participation”. These sessions provided a framework for discussing structured problem analysis methods, effective models of youth engagement, and their application in community development processes. DUF representatives also presented the organization’s work and mechanisms that can contribute to positive regional change.
The main objectives of the visit are the development of youth skills, effective implementation of environmental programs, and strengthening community engagement. This preparatory visit laid the foundation for expanded cooperation and new joint initiatives between youth organizations from Armenia and Denmark.
This collaboration is an important step toward strengthening ties between Danish and Armenian youth, developing youth capacities, and raising environmental awareness.
