Graduates of the Eco-activism Academy, community activists, environmentalists, green entrepreneurs, farmers, tourism representatives, and other concerned citizens from all regions of Armenia have proclaimed the Declaration of the Green Councils Confederation.
Guided by the values of environmental protection, social and ecological justice, human rights, participatory democracy, and sustainable community development, they address Armenia’s key challenges - environmental degradation, social inequality, economic injustice, rural decline, public health risks, and weak local democracy.
The movement, “Green Councils of Federation,” is founded to unite communities and citizens for collective action to protect nature, promote local democracy, ensure social justice, and advance green policies across Armenia.
