The "Firewall" Erasmus+ Youth Exchange has successfully come to an end, bringing together young people from different countries for an inspiring journey of learning, intercultural exchange, and personal growth in Vanadzor, Armenia.

Throughout the project, participants explored some of the most pressing challenges of today's digital world, including cybersecurity, online privacy, phishing, fake news, disinformation, digital footprints, and responsible digital citizenship. Using non-formal education methods, interactive workshops, simulations, group activities, and practical exercises, participants strengthened their digital competences and developed the skills needed to navigate the online environment safely and critically.

Beyond digital literacy, the youth exchange created a meaningful space for discussions on migration, inclusion, empathy, diversity, and intercultural dialogue. Young people shared their personal experiences, reflected on common challenges, and discovered how cooperation and mutual understanding can help build more inclusive communities.

One of the highlights of the project was the creation of participants' "My Story" digital storytelling videos, where they shared their personal journeys and perspectives. Participants also worked collaboratively on developing a Digital Welcome Pack designed to support young people with migrant backgrounds by providing useful information and guidance for adapting to a new environment.

The programme was complemented by cultural and educational activities, including visits to Birthright Armenia and Armenian Volunteer Corps, where participants learned more about volunteering opportunities in Armenia. They also explored the city of Vanadzor and experienced Armenia's culture and hospitality firsthand.

Each intercultural evening celebrated the traditions, music, cuisine, and customs of the participating countries, strengthening friendships and demonstrating the value of cultural diversity.

The "Firewall" Youth Exchange once again highlighted the power of the Erasmus+ Programme to connect young people across borders, promote active citizenship, and equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to become responsible digital citizens and ambassadors of inclusion within their communities.

We sincerely thank all participants, facilitators, partner organisations, and everyone who contributed to making this project a success. The knowledge gained, friendships created, and memories shared will continue to inspire participants long after the project has ended.
