Empowering Youth in Lori Through Strategic Collaboration
The Lori region is taking a meaningful step toward strengthening youth engagement and civic awareness through a new partnership between the Eco Group Youth Environmental NGO and the “ARM Strong” Community Development NGO. This collaboration reflects a shared vision: empowering young people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to actively participate in shaping their communities.
At the core of this initiative is a focus on three interconnected priorities-youth participation, media literacy, and information resilience. In an age where information flows rapidly and not always reliably, equipping young individuals with critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate media responsibly has become essential. Through workshops, discussions, and community-based activities, the program aims to foster a generation that is not only informed, but also engaged and proactive.
Equally important is the emphasis on inclusivity and neutrality. The initiative is designed to create a non-partisan space where young people from diverse backgrounds can come together, exchange ideas, and collaborate on issues that matter to them. By encouraging open dialogue and participation, the program contributes to the broader goal of strengthening democratic values at the local level.
This partnership also highlights the growing importance of collaboration between organizations that share common goals. By combining their expertise and networks, EGYE and “ARM Strong” are able to expand their impact and reach more young people across Lori.
Supported by the New Democracy Fund, this initiative opens new opportunities for youth to develop essential life skills, build resilience against misinformation, and become active contributors to their communities. As the program unfolds, it sets the foundation for long-term positive change-driven by empowered, informed, and engaged young citizens.
